An old English proverb states that necessity is the mother of all invention. After Hurricane Katrina, many things became evident on the Mississippi Gulf Coast…storage and building quality were at the forefront as so many people lost everything! Ingenuity rose up in many who were helping to recover and rebuild south Mississippi during that time.   

Being from a long line of entrepreneurs, Mick Anderson decided to establish Anderson Enterprises in 2006. He began selling and delivering portable buildings as people were rebuilding from the storm. He was like a “one man show” for quite some time…building his business from the ground up. After being in business for a while, he began selling carport structures.  

As his business grew, Mick decided to manufacture his own portable buildings which would exceed coastal wind ratings and give people peace of mind in the process. After many years of helping his Uncle build custom homes, he applied those same concepts to his portable buildings. They are truly His ability to offer customization and superior customer service greatly appealed to customers.  

Through the years, he has been able to add items such as pole barns, Centra-Series DIY steel buildings, decks and covered porches, shooting houses, and dog houses. He accounts all his success to God who has provided him with a vision for necessity and the ability to meet the needs of others with the products he offers at a price people can afford.
